Dakor, initially known for the Danknath temple dedicated to Shiva, transformed into a prominent Vaishnavite center with the renowned Ranchhodraiji temple. Explore its religious and trading significance. Then, visit Pavagadh, home to the ancient Mahakali temple, a revered pilgrimage site among Hindus. Return to Ahmedabad later.
After breakfast, explore Bet Dwarka accessible by a short sea journey from Okha port, surrounded by sea. Visit Nageshwar Temple en route, revered for its Jyotirlinga symbolizing protection. Discover Rukmini Temple, an architectural gem honoring Rani Rukmani. Conclude with Gopi Talav, where Lord Krishna played with the Gopikas.
After an early morning visit to the Dwarkadhish Temple for Aarti, embark on a journey to Somnath, with a stopover at Porbandar. Porbandar, steeped in history and known for its association with Mahatma Gandhi, offers insights into its rich heritage. Explore Kirti Mandir and Bharat Mandir before continuing to Somnath, home to the legendary shore temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witness the resilience of the temple, which has been rebuilt multiple times despite destruction, and visit Bhalka Tirth, a site of significance in Lord Krishna's life journey.
After breakfast, journey to Bhavnagar, a city steeped in history and founded in 1723 AD. Once ruled by the Gohil Rajput clan, it boasts strategic maritime trade potential.
